Nominations for Treasurer
Are you financially minded? Organized? Passionate about supporting Alaska’s medical group management professionals? We’re currently accepting nominations for the AKMGMA Treasurer!

Term: 1 year (July 1 – June 30) with a first right of refusal for a second year
πΌ Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with our bookkeeper to ensure accurate records (QuickBooks Desktop)
- Overseeing monthly bank reconciliation and financial reporting
- Assisting the Board with budgeting (annual and conference)
- Serving as liaison with our CPA for annual 990 filing
- Presenting financial reports at monthly board meetings
π Time Commitment:
- 2–10 hrs/month for oversight and coordination
- ~2 hrs/month for board meetings and reports
- ~5 hrs/year for budget development meetings
