Nominations for Treasurer

Are you financially minded? Organized? Passionate about supporting Alaska’s medical group management professionals? We’re currently accepting nominations for the AKMGMA Treasurer!

πŸ“… Term: 1 year (July 1 – June 30) with a first right of refusal for a second year
πŸ’Ό Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with our bookkeeper to ensure accurate records (QuickBooks Desktop)
  • Overseeing monthly bank reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Assisting the Board with budgeting (annual and conference)
  • Serving as liaison with our CPA for annual 990 filing
  • Presenting financial reports at monthly board meetings

πŸ•’ Time Commitment:

  • 2–10 hrs/month for oversight and coordination
  • ~2 hrs/month for board meetings and reports
  • ~5 hrs/year for budget development meetings
